The DVD says: With breathtaking stunts and action and state-of-the-art shape shifting effects, Dark Breed is an out-of-this-world sci-fi adventure in the spirit of 'The X-Files' and 'Independence Day' and stars Jack Scalia as Nick Saxon. The shuttle mission Aquarius 7 returns to Earth with a terrifying alien cargo. The crew of the ship go missing, carrying within themselves the Dark Breed, a horrifying, monstrous alien life form with plans to colonise Earth. Hoping to cover-up the disastrous possibilities, the Army brings in Captain Nick Saxon, a combat expert and member of the ill-fated Aquarius 2 project, the first time humanity had been the target for the Dark Breed. Now Saxon and his elite team have mere hours to track down the missing, contaminated astronauts. Aided by a beautiful alien tracker in human form, Saxon knows the truth of the Aquarius missions is out there, and he has just hours to save Earth from total alien invasion... Running Time: 92 mins Region: 2 Ratio: 4:3 Sound: Dolby Digital 2.0 Special Features: None. Certificate: 18 My Opinion: Good idea, just poorly implemented. No other videos to rent at your local shop? Then rent this, it's better than watching the Sunday afternoon film on Channel Four. The DVD is a featureless Prism release. REVIEW EXTRA: Screenshots - May contain spoilers |
