Demons (Video)

The Video says: Demons take place in an old mysterious cinema, where all the patrons have been invited by a sinister disfigured man distributing movie tickets. The surprise attraction is a horror movie, several patrons are disgusted by the picture, a brutal stalk & slash flick that centres around demonic possession & graphic murder. Meanwhile a young girl who cut her face on a display mask in the foyer, begins to undergo a hideous transformation into a snarling demon, she contaminates her companion and panic spreads around the cinema. In terror everyone rushes for the exits only to discover that they have all been walled in. As the evil spreads, events escalate into an orgy of bloodshed and madness, climaxing in a crescendo of violence. Escape appears impossible. Running Time: 88 mins Version: Ex-Rental PAL Colour Certificate: 18 My Opinion: Arguably the best film to come from Lamberto Bava/Dario Argento. Great soundtrack, great story and gruesome effects. The only reason I won't give it a five bloody heart rating is because it's dubbed! I know, I know, that's a bit harsh, but it does detract from the movie. |
