Demons 2 (DVD)

The DVD says: Dario Argento and Lamberto Bava, the masters of terror, again combine to produce an odyssey of horror you'll never forget! Time has passed but the Demons have waited. Through TV sets in a high-rise apartment block they re-enter the real world, turning Sally Day's 16th birthday party into an event of unspeakable horror. Guests watch aghast as Sally's hands twist into claws, her teeth become fangs, her veins bulge and pulse and her eyes turn demonic yellow. Black corrosive blood seeps from her body, spreading the Demon plague throughout the building, infecting all those it touches. With the exits sealed and the building plunged into darkness the Demons strike, turning the basement gym into a slaughterhouse and the underground garage into a bloodstained battleground. The survivors struggle against the horrific creatures but the odds are overwhelming, and when it at last seems salvation is in sight, the Demons play their last, hideous trick... Running Time: 95 mins Region: 2 Ratio: Widescreen Sound: Dolby Digital AC3 Special Features: Director Commentary, Theatrical Trailers. Certificate: 18 My Opinion: Fantastic follow-up to the classic Lamberto Bava movie. This story doesn't continue where the last one left off. Instead it starts a new story in an apartment block. Again the special effects are superb when you look at the budget that this film had. The DVD is lacking in extras, but does have a very good director's commentary. |
