The Video says: Master the macabre, STEPHEN KING, serves up a new taste in terror as author Thad Beaumont faces up to the horrors of his own imagination in the blood-chilling thriller THE DARK HALF. TIMOTHY HUTTON is author Thad Beaumont, creator of fictional psycho and alter ego, George Stark. A secret vent for his own violent emotions, Stark has served Thad well. Until now... Writing off his own creation, Thad lets loose a terrifying force of evil as Stark steps off the page and into reality, wreaking horrific revenge on the one man who could make him more than make-believe... Running Time: 117 mins Version: Home Video PAL Colour Certificate: 18 My Opinion: Unusual story, where the evil alter-ego of an author starts killing off everyone that the author knows. This makes the story a bit unbelievable, but it's still good. Has a bit of "The Birds" feel to it with a cast full of sparrows and you can definitely see the Romero-ness in the film. Worth a watch. |
