My Opinion:
Fantastic! This is the ultimate version of The Evil Dead and is a must buy for any horror film fanatic. This includes the full uncut version of the film in wide screen format with a fantastic remastered THX soundtrack. The commentaries are the best that I've heard with Bruce Campbell living up to expectation and Sam and Robert providing some very interesting insights into the behind the scenes action. Also included is Fanalysis - a documentary by Bruce Campbell on the weird fan phenomenon and a featurette on the history of The Evil Dead. So in terms of extras, this DVD is packed. The Book Of The Dead itself is a fantastic reproduction and has been carefully thoughtout. The only down point is the noxious fumes that come off the shaped latex rubber book cover (but some of you might like that!). If you haven't got this yet, then why not?
