The DVD says:

At the age of two Mann went blind. Eighteen years later, a new and risky corneal transplant operation restores her vision; but a series of inexplicable events lead her to believe there is more than meets the eye to her new-found gift of sight. Unable to define her own identify, she comes to understand that whenever she looks into a mirror she doesn't see herself but instead she sees another woman: Ling, the original owner of the corneas. Desperate to uncover the truth, Mann visits Ling's old village in Northern Thailand. It seems that Mann has inherited Ling's fate and the misery that comes with the ability to see more than one wants to see. Is her fate predetermined or does she have the courage and the strength to change the future?

My Opinion:

The film really doesn't score the fourth bloody heart until it reaches the climatic end sequence. It's a fairly sedate film for the most part and really relies on suspense and chills to keep the viewer watching. But as I've already stated, there's a twist at the end which makes you sit up and take notice. This DVD is from Asia and only has some trailers for other available films.
